Photos: Tour bus goes up in flames killing 26 people in Taiwan

A tour bus carrying visitors from China burst into flames on a busy highway near Taiwan's capital today killing all 26 people on board. The bus was bringing the group of Chinese tourists to Taoyuan Airport to catch a flight back to Dalian when the incident happened. Those on board included 24 tourists. Many of the bodies were burnt beyond recognition.

The man in the pictures was found at Polo Bus-Stop (Polo Mall), Enugu, unconscious, where it's said that he'd been for about a week. Information on him (from a prayer book in his possession) suggests a possible link to Umuahia, Abia State, and a Joseph Dominic. Some good Samaritans rushed him to Enugu State University Teaching Hospital (ESUTH, Parklane) and then Mother of Christ Missionary Hospital, Enugu, for treatment and are looking to find a relative of his.

Photos: Thousands flee deadly fighting in South Sudan, at least 272 killed

Tens of thousands of people have fled heavy fighting in northwestern South Sudan between government troops and a newly formed rebel group that has left at least 272 people dead. The Medical aid group Doctors Without Borders (MSF) said that nearly 70.000 people have fled their homes in the town of Wau since Friday. About 10,000 of them have taken refuge at a United Nations base in the area.

The unexpected babies were born in the Obstetrical and Gynecological Hospital affiliated to Fudan University in Shanghai six weeks ahead of an expected due date of 37 weeks, and are now being treated in an intensive care unit for premature babies to monitor their health.

The photos of what may be Dallas cop shooter, Micah Xavier Johnson's bloodied body, was reportedly sent to lawyer and author Mike Cernovich. The photo which wassent to the author by an anonymous source show a dead man on the ground wearing an armored vest. Another photograph submitted by an anonymous source was also published on the gun website The Arms Guide, which claims the Saiga semi-automatic rifle used by gunman Micah Xavier Johnson had a 30-round magazine.

81 killed in herdsmen attack in Benue state

No fewer than 81 persons have been reported dead during herdsmen attacks in Logo and Ukum council areas in Benue state in the last two weeks. Attacks on communities in the locality have been consistent and have led to death of so many people. The traditional ruler of Logo council area, Chief Jimmy Meeme, who spoke to Channels Television said 70 people have been killed in six out of the 10 council wards in his domain. 
Eyewitnesses also claim that Turan, Mbagber, Yonov and Tombo communities in Logo were attacked on the same day while Varser in Ukum Local Government came under siege, leaving 53 persons dead. 

Speaking on the new statistics of the dead victims from the attack, the spokesman of the Benue State Police Command, ASP Moses Yamu, denied the claims, arguing that only 22 deaths were recorded in Logo and Ukum local government areas.
